It doesn’t matter how many leadership tools you have. What matters is having the to use those tools when the critical moment arises.
Do not let anybody else decide what you should be or what you do with your life.
The fear of doing the right thing is pervasive. The underlying basis of that fear shifts in different workplaces.
You have things you fear. That’s part of being a human being.
Courageous acts require skill if you’re going to actually achieve something.
There is no courageous personality. is a choice.
For every change you want to make, there is another human being on the other side whose identity is wrapped up in the issue.
You have to help that person be ok with where you want to go.
