It’s not about the format or the packaging. It’s about making the program accessible to the client.
We were able to go back to the donor and pitch a new idea because we already had a strong relationship with them.
I did a lot of research then went to our CEO and proposed a new format.
It’s about doing the research and knowing the community.
Community building is about everyone in the community. And the donors are no less than anyone else in it.
Part of a developing a good program is knowing when to hand it off.
