Am I Ready to be an Awesome Guest?
Am I committed to an exclusive?
We love when guests appear on other types of podcasts. But we actively avoid guests who are on the nonprofit podcast circuit. In fact, we have been known to indefinitely shelve a guest’s episode when we notice they are appearing on multiple nonprofit podcasts. Our exclusive terms begin the day you book a recording to six months after your episode releases.
Please reach back out when you are ready to commit to an exclusive!
Am I committed to high sound quality?
We will invest significant money, time, and energy to make sure your episode sounds awesome. So we ask you help us by following these proven sound-quality guidelines: (1) use a computer on recording day, (2) use an external microphone, (3) silence all electronic devices, and (4) record in a quiet location.
Please reach back out when you are ready to commit to sound quality!
Am I committed to promoting my episode?
We also invest significant effort into promoting SNP and your episode. We ask you to do your part, too. This means sharing your episode with your network via your website, newsletter, blog, social media, or any other channels that work for you.
Please reach back out when you are ready to commit to promoting your episode!
Am I committed to effective & positive messaging?
Our listeners love when you share interesting stories and important messages for the nonprofit community. As such, we avoid heavy self-promotion or lectures that simply recite facts. Please make sure you have a great topic or two in mind before filling out the Guest Recommendation Form.
Additionally, we believe that our nonprofits and our communities are stronger when we uphold and respect the rights of women, people of color, immigrants, and those who are members of the LGBTQ+ community. We also believe that our world is stronger when we stand up to those who oppose equal rights and justice for all. If these values do not speak to you and are not reflected in your message, we will not be a good fit.
